Strong Opinion.  Read if you care.  Just one of those “epiphanies”.

My son said to me the other day, as we were driving to do an errand, “Look at that school bus, it doesn’t even look like a school bus, it looks like a prison bus.”

Then I took another look, and behold, he was right!  I never thought of it that way before. Except for the color, they look almost identical.

Then he proceeded to say, “The school prison bus that is taking all the school children to prison for the day.”  And then again, I was like, Yeah!  When I was in school they never locked the doors until the day was through and everyone went home; not while you are inside in class doing studies.  Now they even have armed security “guards” on school campuses around this great nation of ours.  Does that not look like prison to you?  Or am I missing something here?

Why are we as a nation allowing these “frog in the cooking pot” antics to continue?  Where they turn that burner on underneath us and we start feeling a little warm, until we get used to it, then they turn the flame up again and we get agitated with more heat until we succumb to it and get used to the water once again.  Now we are stewing in that pot and there has become no way to turn down the heat, for we are almost wasted to bones. We are living in fear.  Fear of what?

History is always repeating itself:

That which has been is what will be,
That which is done is what will be done,
And there is nothing new under the sun.
10 Is there anything of which it may be said,
“See, this is new”?
It has already been in ancient times before us.
11 There is no remembrance of former things,
Nor will there be any remembrance of things that are to come
By those who will come after.  Ecc. 1:9-11

Have we not learned this yet?  There is a time to tear and a time to sew.

What time is this that we are living in?  What has become of our Great American Nation?  Why can’t we all just get along?  :)  Who are these characters that dare to place fear in our hearts where none should be?  Which in turn places fear in the hearts of our children, making them believe that the school government system is better than the mother that bore that child.  They can’t even feed a child without putting shame and fear into that child’s heart thinking he/she did something wrong, so, why do we think they can teach them any morals or values of goodness?

Now we need to as parents, wait like the loved one at the door of a prison before we can pick up our own child.  Then get reprimanded and imprisoned ourselves if we come to close to that gate of exit.

Since when does a school, that we pay taxes to support its existence, have authority over you as a parent or your child.

This is just My Opinion Man.

From a MOM.
